Welspun is highlighting its range of filter media at Filtration 2018. Welstrat, for industrial filtration, is a singed and calendared specialty needlefelt, suitable for mid temperature ranges from 140°/180°C.

Welstrat offers excellent acid, alkali and hydrolysis resistance, according to Welspun. Thermal shrinkage is <1% at 180°C for 1 Hr. Also, high air permeability and lower mean pore size results in better efficiency and less energy consumption.

In addition to needlepunch capabilities, Welspun produces spunlace, thermal bonding, hybrid products and various finishing capabilities.
